About the Program

Is your child working on communication, social interaction, or early learning skills?

The PlaySmart Social Play & Kindergarten Readiness Program is a structured, play-based program designed to help young children build the skills they need for successful learning and

social participation.

Our program takes place at the PlaySmart Plus Center and combines individualized teaching with guided social play in a supportive environment.

Children with developmental delays, speech delay, or suspected autism are welcome.

Program Focus

Children will practice important early skills such as:

  • Communication and language development

  • Social interaction and cooperative play

  • Following instructions and routines

  • Turn-taking, sharing, and joint attention

  • Emotional regulation and problem solving

  • Early learning skills for kindergarten readiness

Schedule Options

  • Morning Program: 10:00 - 12:00

  • Afternoon Program: 1:00 - 3:00

Note: Children may attend multiple days per week, depending on their goals and availability.

Who Can Participate?

Children approximately 4–6 years old who would benefit from support with communication, play, and social development.

Program Fee

$130 per session – billed through AFU funding when applicable

*Sessions are typically scheduled twice per week.

Registration Fee

$200 non-refundable registration fee required to reserve a spot. The registration fee covers assessment, program preparation, materials, and administrative processing.
