About Social Play & Kindergarten Readiness Program

The PlaySmart Social Play & Kindergarten Readiness Program is a structured, play-based program designed to help young children build the skills they need for successful learning and social participation.

Our program takes place at the PlaySmart Plus Center and combines individualized teaching with guided social play in a supportive environment.

Children with developmental delays, speech delay, or suspected autism are welcome.

Program Focus

  • Communication and language development

  • Social interaction and cooperative play

  • Following instructions and routines

  • Turn-taking, sharing, and joint attention

  • Emotional regulation and problem solving

  • Early learning skills for kindergarten readiness

  • Morning Program: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

  • Afternoon Program: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

  • Location: PlaySmart Plus Center – 7805 6th Street, Burnaby, BC, V3N 3N1

Who Can Participate

Children approximately 4–6 years old who would benefit from support with communication, play, and social development.
